Q-Check V Notched Ball Valve is designed for on/off control or throttling applications. This valve has an unrestricted straight through flow design, and provides high capacity for gas, steam, fibrous slurries or liquids. The Q-Check is designed with a splined shaft valve body that matches with a variety of brand name actuators to form a dependable high performance control valve, ideal for many applications in the various processing industries.

SALIENT FEATURES

SUPERB FLOW CHARACTERISTICS:

Precise contouring on the Q-Check ball provides a close equal percentage flow characteristic.

LOW DEAD BAND:

Clamped actuator levers with a splined valve shaft aid in minimizing lost motion and improves control accuracy.

HIGH CAPACITY:

Unrestricted straight through flow design provides a greater capacity than many globe valves incompressible fluids.

HIGH PRESSURE DROP CAPABILITY:

This tough design with low operating torque enables the Q-Check design valve to be used with higher presure drop application than many globe valves.

LOW & HIGH TEMPERATURE CAPABILITY:

Many construction materials and close machine tolerances give the Q-Check Valve design the versatility to be used for applications over a wide temperature span.

INTERCHANGEABILITY:

Unlike flanged ball valves, the Q-Check design is excellent in most services. Control balls, sizes 2-8 inches can be used in services from 150 to 600 lbs. This enables the customer to minimize stocks of control ball valves by size only.
